WILL BE CHANGED FROM THE RESILIENT FLORIDA GRANT FUNDED PROGRAM FUNDED BY THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION TO THE CITY'S STORMWATER FUND BALANCE/RETAINED EARNINGS Summary This is a discussion regarding amending Resolution 2025-132 relative to the funding source to pay the awarded vendor for RFQ 25-3110-02Q Professional Surveying and Geotechnical Services, Craven Thompson and Associates Inc. will be changed from the Resilient Florida Grant Funded program funded by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection to the City's Stormwater fund balance/retained earnings for an amount not to exceed One Hundred and Seventy Two Thousand, Five Hundred and Twenty Five Dollars and Zero Cents ($172,525.00). Staff Recommendation Background:
At the time of approval of Resolution 2025-132 where RFQ 25-3110-02Q Professional Surveying and Geotechnical Services was awarded to Craven Thompson and Associates, the funding source identified was the Resilient Florida Grant Funded Program funded by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP). As a result of limited funding from the grant and the proposals awarded, the funding source proved to be insufficient.
City staff is recommending that the Mayor and City commission grant approval for the vendor’s outstanding invoice for services rendered pursuant to Resolution 2025-132 and contract #25-3110-02Q, be paid via a budget transfer from City's Stormwater Fund Balance/Retained Earnings, expense code Stormwater - 4011302-3110 – Professional Services, for an amount not to exceed $172,525.00 .
