VIDEOA.PRESENTATION ON PREMIUM MOBILITY "PREMO" BY BROWARD COUNTY TRANSIT (5:30 P.M. TIME CERTAIN)

Broward County Transit’s (BCT) Premium Mobility Plan (PREMO) incorporates the goals of the Penny for Transportation Surtax Program. This program, referred to as the Broward Mobility Advancement Program (MAP Broward), provides funding support for improving transit service, enhancing multimodal options, and ensuring economic development and benefits. The Transportation Surtax took effect on January 1, 2019.

 

VIDEOB.DISCUSSION REGARDING A PROPOSED ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY OF LAUDERDALE LAKES LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS TO ESTABLISH CONSISTENCY BETWEEN THE CITY’S COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AND THE LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS REGARDING MAXIMUM RESIDENTIAL DENSITY; PROVIDING FOR A MAXIMUM DENSITY OF FIFTY (50) DWELLING UNITS PER ACRE IN APPLICABLE ZONING DISTRICTS

This is a discussion regarding a proposed ordinance amending the City of Lauderdale Lakes Land Development Regulations (“LDRs”) to ensure consistency with the recently approved Comprehensive Plan amendments adopted by the City and approved by the State of Florida. Specifically, the amendment establishes a maximum residential density of fifty (50) dwelling units per acre within applicable zoning districts consistent with the Future Land Use Element of the Comprehensive Plan.

This is a discussion regarding awarding a contract to VPR Construction Corporation in an amount not to exceed $257,600.00 for ITB 26-6210-26B, Vincent Torres Wall Repair Project.

This is a discussion regarding award of a contract to Remanton Designs LLC in an amount not to exceed $260,052.79 for ITB26-6310-25B - Fuel Bay Overhead Canopy Replacement. Included in that amount are contingencies for permitting ($4,500.00), utilities( $3,500.00) and general conditions (10% of general construction cost: $22,913.89)

This is a discussion regarding approval of an Interlocal Agreement between Broward County and all 31 Municipalities for sharing resource burden of the nation-wide National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) MS4 permit.

This is a discussion regarding amending Resolution 2025-132 relative to  the funding source to pay the awarded vendor for RFQ 25-3110-02Q Professional Surveying and Geotechnical Services, Craven Thompson and Associates Inc. will be changed from the Resilient Florida Grant Funded program funded by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection to the  City's Stormwater fund balance/retained earnings for an amount not to exceed One Hundred and Seventy Two Thousand, Five Hundred and Twenty Five Dollars and Zero Cents ($172,525.00).

This is a discussion regarding proposed revisions to the Parks and Human Services Facility Usage and Fee Schedule Policy, including updates to facility usage guidelines, rental procedures, and fee structures to ensure consistency, operational efficiency, and cost recovery for City facilities and programs.

The grant provides federal funding to support critical fire department needs, including equipment, training, personal protective equipment, vehicles, and other resources that enhance firefighter safety and operational effectiveness.

The grant provides federal funding to assist fire departments with hiring, recruitment, and retention initiatives to ensure adequate staffing levels and improve emergency response capabilities.

This is a discussion regarding the submission of an application to the FEMA Fire Prevention & Safety (FP&S) Grant Program. The grant supports projects that reduce the risk of fire-related injuries and deaths through public education, community risk reduction initiatives, firefighter safety programs, and related prevention activities.
